Dear Gladys and Lillian, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I remember Billy when you all came to Emmanuel church out by Parkers Chapel and sung. My family and I really enjoyed it especially when Billy sung about the 6 rusted nails. May God bless and comfort your family. Brenda Haddock Lewis

To the Family and Friends of Bro. Billy: Aren't we so blessed to have known Bro. Billy. To Johnny and I (Dean) he was an inspiration... ever so talented and yet so humble. Bro. Billy was an example of love unblemished. I know you all will miss him so much. For each one of us, we hold our own special memories. May God comfort each one of you with the peace of knowing what you meant to him. One day we shall see him again. With love, Johnny and Dean

Dear Sister Shirley,
Johnny and I (Dean) are so thankful that you are and Bro. Billy has been a part of our lives. You both are so very special; we have wonderful memories of the times we've shared. I know that Bro. Billy is in the presence of God and has already met Jesus face to face. Bro. Billy will be looking for you when your time comes to join him there. Bro. Billy told you how much he loves you. Hold on to the love you share. May God keep you with a peace that only He can give. With love from the hearts of a couple that you encouraged one day long ago. We thank you for being a part of our wedding.

Dear Aunt Shirley and family,
My husband Jerry and I will be going up to the funeral today, but we wanted you to have a separate note on this website. Uncle Billy was always wearing a smile and was always testifying about his belief in Jesus. His music now remains and it is truly special. He gave me three tapes and one CD a couple of years ago and I will always treasure them. I loved it at Grindle Creek Church when he sang "There's a Hand Writing on the Wall". That will always be my favorite. I pray you will feel God's comforting presence now and always. I know you will miss Uncle Billy greatly as will all of the family, but he has lived a good life and is now in a place with no pain and no sorrow. God bless you and yours now and always.
Love,
Anna Harris Fleming and husband Jerry
