I am very saddened for your loss. dr melvin was a wonderful man. i worked with him in labor and delivery at the hospital. he also took care of my daughter when she had to have surgery. she was only two and very scared. she did not want to wear a patient gown, and he was so kind. he let her wear her pajamas to bed and changed her once she was asleep. it is the little things like that, which set him apart. he had such kindness, and was nuturing, and patience with all his pateints. he will be greatly missed by all.

I have worked with Dr. Melvin for 13 years at the hospital, and I will miss him very much. He was great to work with. His calmness always brought calmness to the bedside when we needed it most. He took care of my husband when he had surgery, and I will never forget how kind he was when Steve was so scared. I am very sorry for your loss, and I will miss him . I will continue to pray for you and keep you and your family in my thoughts.
