John Nolte Obituary

1926 - 2017

John Nolte of Eugene, OR died Tuesday November 14, 2017 in Springfield, OR.

Born in Morrison, MO to John & Esther Nolte along with brothers Al and George and sister Gertrude, all deceased.

After graduating from Herman High School in Herman, MO, he joined the United States Navy, aboard the USS Vulcan in 1944 and served at Guadalcanal. He was honorably discharged.

He lived in Eugene where he worked as an electrician and later in 1952 he started his own business as Nolte Electric. He was also a local rancher with his wife Marjorie Ann Nolte of 48 years. They were married January 18th, 1969. He retired in 1975.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings. He is survived by a son John Nolte Jr; daughter Christine Nolte; step-son Klint Kilday of Arizona; step-daughter Lisa Nino of Hermiston.

He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

At his request, no services are being held.
