Michael Morris Obituary



Michael Caine Morris 20, of Eugene, Oregon went to be with God on Monday Dec. 3, 2012 at Ivinson Memorial Hospital in Laramie, WY where he was attending school. He passed due to complications from diabetes. He was born December 6, 1991 in Charlottesville, VA. Caine, as he was known to friends & family, was a loving son, loved friend & loyal person who brought joy & light to anyone who knew him. He loved music & was a beautiful singer. Caine was involved in organized singing groups since elementary school & was recently a part of the Eugene Concert Choir, the group "Exit-194", the "Downing Street Singers", & the Churchill High School Choir. Caine was also mechanically gifted, & loved to go fast with anything on wheels. He loved to shoot, drive & absolutely loved skateboarding. Caine was a dedicated volunteer at Catholic Community Services of Lane County's Food Pantry.

He is survived by his parents: mother, Joyce E. Morris & father, Gabriel J. Howard of Eugene, OR; his sister, Christine Nicole Morris; his nieces: Lilly & Holly of West Virginia; his brother Daniel J. Hruska of Eugene; his beautiful & loving grandmother, Norma Sue Morris; four blessed aunts: Janet Breeden, Judy Morris Shifflett, Jean Morris, Julia Morris; Cousins: Brian, Keri, Kimberly, Jill, Jennifer, Jessica, Jackie, Lindsey & Lauren, all of the Virginia area. As well as long time & loved companion Kenda Swader of Eugene, Oregon, & Khrystalle Baty, longtime & loving bestfriends of Springfield, Oregon; as well as numerous other family & friends, our beloved family we have created in Eugene. His spirit will live on in those he touched.

Memorial services to be announced for the end of Dec. in Eugene. Cremation has taken place. Remembrances in his memory to Catholic Community Services of Lane County, [Michael Caine Morris "Prescription Assistance Program"], 1025 G St., Springfield, OR 97477
