Scott Beeh Obituary

Scott Allen Beeh died December 30, 2015 in Oklahoma City from a traumatic brain injury. He was 49 years old. He was born in Tacoma, WA in 1966 to Geraldine (Weflen) Beeh and Terry Beeh. Shortly after, the family moved to Portland, Oregon. He also lived in Eugene, Oregon from 1979 to 1983.

After graduating in 1984 from Roosevelt High School in Portland, Scott joined the United States Marine Corps. He attained the rank of Staff Sergeant and served 16 years before retiring from military service. Later he attended Southern Illinois University where he studied Electronics Management. He held various positions throughout his life in the fields of Information Technology and Electronics Maintenance.

In 1985 Scott married Janet Brisco. They were married for 15 years and had one son together, Scott Beeh Jr. He also adopted a son, Matthew.

Music was an inspiration to Scott, and he became an aspiring singer and guitar player. He also enjoyed dancing, woodworking, and playing pool. He pursued physical fitness in various forms including the martial arts, and was an avid outdoor enthusiast enjoying camping, hiking and fishing.

Scott is survived by his mother, Geri (Beeh) Sanders of Eugene; his father, Terry Beeh of Longview; his sons, Scott Beeh Jr. of Prineville and Matthew Beeh of Southhaven, MS; his sister and brother, Kristen Sweet and Darrin Beeh of Eugene; his grandmother, Olive Weflen of Gresham; and his nieces, Rachel and Rebecca Sweet, and Amanda Beeh, all of Eugene.

Scott was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Raymond Weflen and William Beeh; his grandmother, Violet Beeh; his aunt, Katheryn Scharpen; and his uncle, Steven Weflen.

Funeral services were held on January 14, 2016 at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home in Gresham, OR., a military tribute followed at Willamette National Cemetery.
