WATERBURY – It is with profound sadness that the family of David LaBonte, age 71, of Sebastian, FL, formerly of Waterbury, shares the news of his tragic passing on July 12, 2025, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in FL.
A Beautiful Farewell Ceremony for David will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 1987 East Main St, Waterbury, CT 06705. Burial will held at the convenience of his family. A reception will follow the service in the Courtyard. For a full obituary please refer to the funeral home website. Grew up in the same neighborhood as Dave, he was a few years older than me and honestly he was kind of the neighborhood bully. Had not seen him for 20 years and I bumped into him, after we caught up, he offered to come back to my house and help me replace my roof. He stayed for 2 days. We had some great conversations about life and such... RIP Dave
