Geraldine Aschenbrenner Obituary

Geraldine "Gerri" M. Aschenbrenner, 84, of Fort Collins, died December 26, 2013. She was born on February 9, 1929 in Longmont to Jake and Marie Schwindt. She married Reuben J. Aschenbrenner on February 16, 1947 in Loveland and he preceded her in death on February 20, 2002. She was a faithful servant at Christ Center Community Church in Fort Collins. Gerri is survived by a son, Gary Aschenbrenner and wife Charlotte of Lawrence, Kansas; a daughter, Dee Aschenbrenner of Aurora; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters. A viewing will be at Resthaven Funeral Home in Fort Collins from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 30, 2013. The Funeral Service is at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Resthaven Funeral Home. Interment is at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Suncrest Hospice in care of Resthaven Funeral Home, 8426 South Hwy. 287, Fort Collins, CO 80525.
