Monte Kiser Obituary

Monte Ray Kiser was born in Minot, ND to Edward "Smokey" and Beatrice Kiser (Shern). Monte graduated ahead of his class in 1972. He earned certificates on all types of welding. He moved on to be a heavy equipment operator. Then a roofer for 35 years, working for Risilias Roofing, Schroeder Roofing, Kiser Roofing and Atlas. He worked as a welder at Forbes & CeeJay Tool. He worked as a custom home builder up until the end. Monte was constantly wrenching on vehicles, boats or motorcycles. He loved to be outdoors, especially fishing, his most favorite pastime. Whether it was from his cabin cruiser, belly boat or from shore, he loved fishing. He also loved his dogs 2 by & Hook, they were inseparable. Monte was an avid hunter and shot a 6 point Elk from the top of Bakers Peak at 500 yards with a 7 mag. Another one of his favorite things to do was ride his Harley. He married Penny in 1981 then divorced in 1999. But in the Spring of 2000, Monte met Theresa Romero. Where he helped raise Theresa's kids - Phillip and Angelica Romero. Monte took them camping, fishing and boating. Up until 2014 when Monte moved on. But Monte and Theresa continued to be best friends up until the day he passed away. He was preceded in death by his parents. A celebration of Life will be held at East End Ale House located at 422 E. 4th St. Loveland, CO on June 25, 2022 at 11am.

To those blessed to know Monte , I send you comfort and love. Sad he is gone because he always put a smile on ones face. He will be missed.
