Jimmy Hunter Obituary
Munday, TX
Jimmy Luther (J.L.) Hunter passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at the age of 70. He was born March 10, 1944 in Knox County to J.E. and Gladys Hunter. He was a farmer most of his life.
J.L. was preceded in death by his father, John Ellis Hunter and two sons; John David Hunter and Jimmy Paul Hunter.
Survivors include his mother; Gladys Hunter of Knox City, TX, four daughters; Kathrine Hunter of Georgia, Jennifer and husband, Joel Martinez of Junction, TX, Cindy Hunter of Austin, TX, and Kristen Hunter of Huntsville, TX, two grandchildren; Haley Martinez of San Marcus, TX, and Drew Martinez of Junction, TX, his companion; Pam Miller of Munday, TX, one brother; Johnny Hunter of Knox City, TX and one sister; Judy Hunter of Cedar Hill. TX.
A memorial service will be held at 11AM, Saturday, April 26, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church in Munday under the direction of McCauley-Smith Funeral Home.
