Deborah Bowen Obituary

Deborah Bowen, 67, passed away surrounded by family and loved ones at her home in Idaho Falls, Idaho on the evening of April 9, 2018. She was a wife, beloved mother and grandmother. Her unconditional love and great faith will be missed.

Deborah was born August 10, 1950, in Rexburg Idaho, to Lyle Bowen and Jacqueline Neeley Bowen. She graduated from Skyline High School in Idaho Falls, Idaho. After graduating she moved to Provo, Utah where she met Reed James Larson. They married on May 28,1971, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. Deborah stayed home and raised their six children while moving between Utah and Idaho. They lived in Rexburg, Idaho; Bountiful, Utah; and Sandy, Utah. The last seven years she resided in Idaho Falls, Idaho giving care to her loving father.

She was preceded in death by her mother Jacqueline Neeley Bowen and grandson, Isaac Robert Rideout. Deborah is survived by her former husband Reed James Larson, of Sandy, Utah; her six children, Whitney Williams (Ryan) of Kaysville, Utah; Reagan Rideout (Rob) of Holladay, Utah; Paige Horne (James) of Sandy, Utah; Joshua Reed Larson (Kristen) of West Jordan, Utah; Erin McBride (Jordan) of Riverton, Utah; and Jacob Bowen Larson (Amy) of South Jordan, Utah; and 27 grandchildren. The family would like to thank One Source Hospice and Wood Funeral Home for their care and all those that loved our sweet mother throughout her life. She had the strongest testimony of her Savior and was a light and anchor of the gospel to all those who knew her.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Saturday April 14, 2018, at the Idaho

Falls LDS Yorkside Chapel (260 Castlerock Lane) with Bishop Emilio

I used to work for the Bowen family in high school. I always thought the world of them. I dated Debbie in high school a little and thought she was a wonderful person I am saddened to hear of her death. Best wishes to her family.

Dear Brother Bowen & Family, Deb and I became fast friends when we both lived in Pheasantbrook in Centerville, Utah. I loved her enthusiasm for life and her love of the gospel and our wonderful friendship. She was one of those one-in-a-million ladies. She will be so missed by everyone! Love, Lorri Stephenson

So sorry to hear of Debbie's passing. I had a nice visit with her several years ago when she was at Deseret Book. She was a friend and member at our Ward group of friends as teenagers. Condolences to her family.
