Dina Feeley Obituary

Dina Feeley, 97, of West Frankfort, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014, at 9:45 a.m. in the Westside Care Center in West Frankfort.

She was born June 22, 1916, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Robert and Vittoria (Cucchi) Oliver.

She married Frank F. Feeley on June 11, 1939, in Des Moines, Iowa, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 8, 2008.

Survivors include a daughter, Janet Patton of West Frankfort; two sons, Thomas (Barbara) Feeley of Belleville and Dennis (Ruth) Feeley of West Frankfort; grandchildren Jay Sala, Deanna (Matt) Schoen, Tricia (Bill) Blank, Derek Hasenstab, Maura (Brian) Ingle, Meg Hasenstab, Vittoria "Torie" Patton, Jennifer (Jeremy) Blades and Sarah Feeley; great-grandchildren Ria and William Blank, Braden and Logan Ingle, Lexie Sala, Kyra Blades and Lucas Blades; brothers, Robert Oliver Jr. and Mando Oliver; and a sister, Helen Oliver Struthers and husband, Dave.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Frank; daughter, Patricia Feeley Hasenstab; and husband, Chuck; brothers, Mike, Nello and Ralph Oliver; and sisters, Josephine O. Laurenzo, Linda O. Bianchi and Mary O. Clarke.

She was a member of the St. John's Catholic Church in West Frankfort and the St. Bernadette's Solidarity. She was active in the West Frankfort Historical Society where she enjoyed serving meals.

She had formerly worked for B.F.J Furniture Store in West Frankfort for many years.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2014 in the St. John's Catholic Church in West Frankfort with Father Sean Palas and Monsignor Bill McGhee officiating.

Burial will be in the St. John's Catholic Cemetery in West Frankfort.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Parker - Reedy Funeral Home in West Frankfort. Memorial contributions may be made to the West Frankfort Historical Society and will be accepted at the funeral home. To sign the guest register visit www.parkerreedyfuneralhome.com.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Mrs. Feeley was a wonderful person. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I sincerely apologize that I was not at the visitation or funeral but unfortunately I only learned of her death last night.
