Edna Westmoreland Burt

May 18, 2016

Edna Westmoreland Burt was born in Tremonton, UT on May 6th 1934. She passed away at home on May 18, 2016 suffering multiple compilations from diabetes. She had four great loves in her life; her family, her LDS Faith, America and art. She saw her life through the eyes of a true artist and made everything in our lives beautiful and exciting. Edna has lived in Sparks since 1954. She was a sales girl and spokes women for Gail Richards Cosmetics from 1965 until 1986 when she bought the company and relocated it to Sparks, NV. Everything she touched thrived. She was a successful business woman: CEO of Edna 4CZNS Skin Care and as a full partner in Burt Rentals Properties. She has been a beloved wife, mother and grandmother and her loss is already deeply felt. She is survived by her husband; Jerry Burt, daughter; Brenda, 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Steven Burt. A graveside service will be held at Mountain View Cemetery in Reno, NV on Wednesday, May 25th at 11:30 am. To any type-2 diabetics reading this notice we beg you, as a family who lost their loved one, to put down the doughnut and pick up a celery stick!

Not sure what to say?

June 20, 2016

First I'd like to say "I Love you Aunt Edna" and will miss you dearly. I want to thank you for your love, time and caring words. You were the Family Historian that kept me connected to our family after my Father, your brother; Ray passed away.
I truly enjoyed all the family stories and facts that I would never had heard if not for you. Thank you for always being there when I needed you.

Uncle Jerry and Brenda, I'm sending my deepest condolences, love, and prayers to all of your families. I'm saddened to hear of Aunt Edna's passing.
Your Wife and Mother was one of the most special souls God has ever sent to this world. She touched so many other lives and left them better for having been part of it. Thank you for sharing her with the rest of us.

If there is anything I can do for you please let me know. I Love you all very much.

Your Nephew and Cousin,
Bobby R. Westmoreland
