George Douthit Obituary

George Arthur

DOUTHIT

December 2, 1925 - February 28, 2010

Today God sent his Angels to bring our father home. George Arthur Douthit, born Brooklyn, NY and preceded in death by parents, Agnes O'Laughlin-Douthit and Arthur Anderson Douthit. Dad was very much loved and will be dearly missed by his son, daughters, grandchildren, and extended family. His greatest wish came true when he lived long enough to see his first great grandchild born. He loved her very much and nicknamed her Queen.

Survived by two daughters, Georgette Hodges (Larry) and Andrea Nolte; son, Ronald Ray Walker; grand- children, Harold J. Nolte and Amanda Oswald, great granddaughter, Isabella and special friends Joe Nolte and Karen Hone. We are grateful for the excellent care provided by Circle of Life Hospice and the special care provided by Renown Skilled Nursing staff, in dad's final days.

We love you Dad, Forever and Always.

Graveside services today, 2 p.m. at Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Fernley, NV.
