I was sorry to hear about Joe's passing. I'm glad I was able to see him at our 40th reunion and wish that we'd had more time to visit. I remember getting pizza from him at Shakeys in Reno. I'm sorry he won't be at our 50th!

A person meets many aquaintances in life, but friends are hard to come by. Joe, a true friend, is missed in our daily lives. Deb, thank you for letting us share in Joe's last moments on this earth. He passed into eternity as he lived, in quietness and thinking of you.

My sympathy to your family. Joe was indeed a gentle giant and a good man. I know my kids will never forget their trips to Elko. My son caught his first fish (with George in Lamoile) and my daughter competed in her first sack race. George and Volga were their favorite people in the world. They still remember frogs eye salad, the basque festival and that it snowed on the 4th of July!
I will never forget you.

Buddy....I will never forget you. You are the kind of guy who always made me laugh, always made me smile, and always made me proud to be your friend and buddy. When my time comes to join you I know you will be there standing tall as a Redwood waiting to give me a big 'ol bear hug.
Joe...I will never stop missing you.....ever.
