I worked with Jo Jo for 9 years at the DMV, he called me by my middle name Rita...Joe had a great personality and made people laugh, we laughed a lot and I was very fortunate to have him as my supervisor. He loved his family and I would see him at pow-wow's. My condolences to his family, he is at peace now.

Sending my condolences to the family. As a child I have a lot of memories of Joe, Emily, Tony and Amanda - had the opportunity to grow up with a nice and caring family. The good ole' days out at Stewart Indian School. My thoughts and prayers are with you all - we did lose an amazing person. He will be missed. So sorry to hear about Joe. Playing baseball with Tony, I got to see a great dad, an astute baseball mind, and always a funny, nice guy. I remember being scared out of my mind to go take my drivers test but good fortune smiled upon as I walked into the DMV and saw Joe - he immediately started joking around and my fear evaporated. Rest in peace.

I remembered Coach Abbie from Bambino Baseball growing up and playing in the early 80's. He was also my DMV driving instructor when I took my driver's license test at 16. Truly a great man and was always very kind. May our condolences bring you comfort and may our prayers ease the pain of this loss. The Hegarty Family
