Michael Vincent Carroll was born April 13, 1959, in Portland, Oregon. He died, suddenly, on October 25, 2016, at St. Mary's in Reno, Nevada; he was 57. He was surrounded by loved ones and well-wishers when he passed. He is preceded in death by his father, Vincent Carroll, and his sister, Mary K. Carroll. He is survived by his mother, Martha Carroll, brother, Kevin Carroll, sisters, Kelly and Kerry Carroll and his son and daughter, Jordan and Caitlin Carroll.
Michael grew up in the Salinas, California area and was a star track and field athlete at North Salinas High School, and Hartinel College where he made many lifelong friends. Michael's bright smile, colorful vocabulary and friendly demeanor made him friends wherever he went. Once his children were grown and out on their own, he moved to the Lake Tahoe area, and fell in love with the lake. If he had his way, he'd have spent the remainder of his days there. And it is there that he wished his remains scattered.
