Tony

McCORMICK, Dr
.

Dr. Tony McCormick, 32 years old, of Reno, NV, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2007 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Reno, after a three month battle with acute monocytic leukemia and related complications.

If you knew Tony, you knew he was a unique and brilliant individual. He set very high standards for himself. He loved hiking and being in nature. Tony was compassionate and worked hard to help people heal in mind, body and spirit. He was passionate about family, the environment, and alternative and natural medicine. Tony often left a strong impression with those he met, by his example with his exceptionally peaceful presence.

He was an extraordinarily loving and wonderful dad to his nine year old daughter, Skylr, and a loving husband to his wife, Merri. Tony leaves behind his wife, Merri and daughter, Skylr; parents, Mike and Doris McCormick; brothers, Lee, Loren, Tracy, Tyler and Luke; sister, Leslie; grandmothers, Kathryn Sundell and Elsie McCormick; a large extended family and many, many friends and associates who loved him very much and are mourning this huge loss in their lives.

Tony was honest, kind, unusually gentle, and had the kind of integrity rarely seen in today's world. He had a beautiful soul and he will be so missed from the lives of all who knew him. There will be a memorial service for Dr. Tony McCormick at the Reno Buddhist Church on Friday, February 8, 2008 at 4 p.m. located at 820 Plumas, with parking across the street. The memorial service is open to anyone that knew Tony and would like to celebrate his life.
