Kevin McClure Obituary

Kevin Blaine McClure, 46, of Kingston, passed away Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013, at his home.
He was born Dec. 9, 1967, in Rockwood and was a lifelong resident of Roane County. He was a 1986 graduate of Roane County High School and went on to receive his bachelor's degree in communication from Austin Peay State University, where he played college football. He was owner and operator of Greenskeeper Lawn Care in Kingston and was also a Kingston City Councilman and served on the Rockwood Electric Utility Board. He was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary McClure, June 30, 1999; and uncle, A.J. McClure, June 10, 2007. He leaves behind many family members and friends to cherish his memory.
Survivors include sons, Hunter and Dalton McClure, both of Kingston; daughter, Madi McClure, Kingston; mother and stepfather, Janice and J.L. Milsaps, Kingston; paternal grandfather, Arthur McClure, Kingston; ex-wife, Melissa Agee, Kingston; brother-in-law, James Agee II, Kingston; uncles and aunts, Ray and Rhonda McClure, Lonnie and Phyllis McClure, Gary and Helen Wallace, Gene and Robin McClure, and Sandra McClure, all of Kingston; special in-laws and friends, Jim and Barb Agee, Kingston; many cousins; a host of extended family and friends.
The family received friends from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 27, in Calvary Baptist Church, Kingston, with funeral service following at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary, with Pastor Ray Bearden and Pastor Jeff Plemons officiating. Graveside service was be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, at Lawnville Cemetery. Fraker Funeral Home, Kingston, is in charge of arrangements. ALWAYS willing to help others and went out of his way to help in any way that he could. His smile and laugh will be remembered as well as his great love of family. I will miss his cooking advise and hearing stories about his children. We see you again in heaven.
