Charles Wilson Wurzburger, Jr.

January 31, 1947 - May 31, 2025

C.W. grew up in Fairlawn, VA, and graduated from Dublin High School in the Class of 1965. After receiving a degree from Radford University, he began a long career working for the Defense Department (RDAISA).

C.W. was active in all sports through high school and afterwards. After retirement, he mainly devoted his time to golf. He loved his friends and spending time on the golf course.

C.W. was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Gil Wurzburger and Davy Wurzburger. Family members he leaves behind are his wife and partner for 40 years, Julie Van de Voort; his niece, Christy W. Dishon and her family; his sister-in-law, Judy Wurzburger; niece, Ashley, and family. He was a beloved character and treasured all his good friends.

All are asked to join Julie at a gathering for his burial on Friday, June 6, at 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Cemetery.
