To Cody's Family,
You will be in our prayers. Cody never met a stranger, and he could always make you laugh. He was one smiling, and funny kind of guy. That is what made him special. Cody and i had class together at Btec mostly. I can remember a very small grill we made there and he used to bring us deer meat and we would grill 4 or 5 pieces at a time. They were great times. You will be missed buddy. We'll see you on the other side. Prayers for your family.

Pam and family, David and family. I'm so sorry and can't express how sorry I am and sorry you guys are going through this. Its good knowing that Cody was a very loved Guy by his family and friends. I don't think there's a person around Cody didn't get along with IR make smile. He never met a stranger. I for one am so glad I got to be one of his friends for many years. I am deeply sorry for your loss. I didnt know cody like i wish i could have. Everytime i seen him he was with his daughter and he was smiling so big and bright,and so was she! He also laughed alot,that told me he was a very happy young man. He got respect from everybody because he gave respect to everybody.He will definately be missed,i just wish i had the time to know him as the others,but what i did know of him left me with the wonderful cody smiling and laughing.God will continue to watch over cody as he will watch over codys family.My prayers and thoughts are with you all,may God continue to bless you.

To Aunt Pam and Uncle Andrew
I'm very sorry for your loss. I have not seen Cody very much in the last few years, but the last time I saw him he ran out of gas on 220 and I gave him a ride. I got him some gas and gave him a ride back to the car and we sat there for a while and talked about Grandma Rhodes and how he used to laugh about her humming all the time. We also laughed about the cat in the tree. Cody was a good person and again I am truly sorry for your loss. His memory will live on in your hearts.

Some of the best times I remeber of cody was when we all saw a video in the 5th grade about the indians and all that cody said was look at the four fingered people . The time we went hunting on his family property . It was a great thing to spend time with a guy like Cody. He would try to do it all for anyone. May god be with you.

I've known Cody since... 1989 I believe. We went all through school together and I can't think of a time he was ever intentionally unkind or cruel to anyone. Such a sweet man with such a wonderful personality and kind nature. I'll always remember him fondly and remember going on field trips from Eagle Rock elementary with his mother Pam as our "cool chaperone". Though I've moved away and haven't spoken to Cody since graduation, I was very sad to hear of his untimely passing. I'm so sorry for your loss Rhodes and Simmons families. You'll be in my thoughts.
