Lewis Eugene Wooldridge

February 10, 1937 - July 10, 2021

Lewis Eugene Wooldridge, of Elliston, passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2021, at the age of 84.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Minnie Sue and John Eugene Wooldridge; brother, Raymond Wooldridge; sisters, Ora Mae Arnold, Glenna Hogan. He is survived by his wife, Susie; children, Danny Wooldridge (Donna), Sandy Helton, and Missy Smith (Junior); brothers, Eddie Wooldridge, Wayne Wooldridge; sister, Wanda Overstreet (David); grandchildren, Joey Wooldridge, Crystal Hight, Julie Vincent, Anna Helton, Jessica and Tyler Smith; along with numerous great-grandchildren who are left to cherish his memory.

A period of visitation will take place from 1 until 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, in the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel in Salem. A funeral service will then begin at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Jessie Howard officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Roanoke.
