Tamela Gail Whitlow

Tamela Gail (Tammy) Whitlow, of Radford and formerly of Pearisburg, departed this life on Saturday, May 7, 2011, at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center at Radford. Born in Pearisburg on November 7, 1961, she was a daughter of John R. and Judy J. Meredith of Narrows. She attended Pearisburg Christ Fellowship in Pearisburg, was retired from the Celanese Plant at Narrows, was a 1980 graduate of Narrows High School, and was a No. 1 Hokie Fan of Beamer Ball. She leaves to cherish her memory her parents, Judy and John Meredith, of Narrows; her husband, Jerry Quesenberry, of Radford; her daughters, Bethany Whitlow Shuff, of Pearisburg, and Erine Michelle Miller, of Radford; her stepdaughter, Jessica Wendie Quesenberry, of Radford; her brothers, Gregg and Darlene Meredith, of Narrows, and Johnny and Robin Meredith, of Narrows; her brother-in-law, Stephen Quesenberry, of Pulaski; her six grandchildren; and canine baby, Hokie Quesenberry, of the home. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 6 p.m. on Tuesday evening, May 10, 2011, in Pearisburg Christ Fellowship, 1412 Wenonah Avenue, Pearisburg with Pastor Gregg Cox officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to The Women's Resource Center, P.O. Box 477, Radford, VA 24143. The family will receive friends at the church after the services.
