What we remember most about Tom when we think of him, is that he was always smiling. We also loved his sense of humor. Now the Angels are smiling with Tom.

God Bless you Charlotte, Rick and family until we see his bright smile again.

Charlotte and Rick,

Tom Hubbard meant so much to our singing ministry and as our dear

friend. He was supportive and loving even when we thought our singing was pretty bad.

We cannot imagine a day at The

Roanoker without seeing that sincere, sweet smile.

Our Family and "your extended

Restaurant family" sends our deepest sympathy and hope you know

we are here for you.

Mr Hubbard was a neighbor of mine for the better part of my life. He was always kind and friendly and a great neighbor. I and my family have always respected he and his family and he will be missed. All my sympathy to his wife, Charlotte and son, Rick. My children and his grand-children are friends and we

feel a since of loss at his passing. I have no doubt that he is now with the Lord and has no more pain. "To be absent for the body is to be present with the Lord."

Tom was a good customer of mine at Midpoint Chevrolet. Over the years I have enjoyed the many conversations we shared when Tom came to the dealership. Tom also was a neighbor as I too live in the Cave Spring area, Tom always had a nice smile, a good word to share and was always thankful. Tom smiled at me Sunday night when I arrived at the house after receiving the rescue call. After the Rescue Squad arrived, Tom shook my hand, smiled and said thank you to me for coming over to assist him. I will remember and miss Tom. My sincere sympathy's to the family for their loss.

Tom was a wonderful friend, tireless worker, and an ardent supporter. Several years I played piano for the Appalachian Chorus and on days when I couldn't hit a correct note, Tom was always there to put a smile on my face and to show me that having fun was what it was all about. He was a bright light during dark days and one of God's loving sons. I know heaven is a little happier place today because he's there and I look forward to seeing him again. I will always be thankful for the friendship he gave to me and he will be missed by many. May God be with the family as they face the coming days and know that he would want you to be happy for him...he's home now.

Charlotte,

I will always remember Tom for his kind nature and for his dedication to Appalachian Power Company’s employee choral group, The Appalachian Chorus. Although Tom officially served the Chorus as our business manager and photographer, he was much more than that. He was also our spiritual leader and a dear friend to us all. I appreciate all the things that Tom did for us over the years and thoroughly enjoyed having you both as part of our Chorus family. I am deeply sorry to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.

With sympathy,

Robert McKinney
