Paul Mitchell Obituary


Paul Alan Mitchell, 78, loving & devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend to all, passed beyond the curtain of time Nov. 24, 2008. Mr. Mitchell was the son of the late William and Mona Mitchell. His brothers; Douglas Mitchell and Ronald Mitchell preceded Mr. Mitchell in death. Mr. Mitchell was born in Seattle, Washington, and was a decorated veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Mitchell was a graduate of Cal Poly Tech, where he received a B.S. in engineering, and was employed by Lockheed Missile and Space. Upon his retirement in 1994 from Lockheed Missile and Space, Mr. Mitchell relocated to Covington, GA. and was presently employed at Padgett Business Services. Surviving are his wife of 36 years Carole Mitchell; children, Terry Kirihara, Kim Sauln, Dee Morris, William Mitchell, Marcy Roberts and Perry Matias; 13 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; niece; Elizabeth Lewin, nephew; Christopher Mitchell. Mr. Mitchell was an avid outdoorsman, and belonged to The American Sportsman Club, as well as The Saratoga Sportsman Club. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Paul Alan Mitchell will be held at 12:00 p.m. Sat. Nov. 29, 2008 at Word Of Life Tabernacle 99 Ellis Trail Covington, GA. The reverends David Yancey, and Daniel Gissendaner officiating. Metro Embalming and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.

I have just heard of Paul's passing, I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Paul at Padgett's. He will be greatly missed this tax season. We all had a great time working with him.
