Erline Bivins Obituary
RALEIGH - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Erline Bridges Bivins.
Erline, age 82, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2025, at Capital Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Raleigh, NC.
She was beautiful, sassy, funny, and honest. Erline was known for cooking delicious soups and pies, offering unfiltered and boldly stated truths, enjoying sweet treats, and sipping Coca-Cola. She especially loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Erline was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
She leaves behind three daughters, Rhonda Riggins, Alecia Bridges, and Monica Bivins; one son, Reginald Bridges; and four grandchildren, Chenetra Mangum, Jessica Chubbs, Lindsey Riggins-Davis, and Jackson Bivins. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
She is now free of this world and rests peacefully in the arms of Jesus.
The family extends special thanks to the staff at Capital Nursing and Rehabilitation Center as well as Liberty Hospice in Raleigh, NC, for providing her with such loving and outstanding care during her final years. The family also wishes to express their sincere gratitude to R.M. Ferguson Funeral Service in Raleigh, NC for their compassionate care and guidance in handling the arrangements.
