My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. I was lucky enough to be included in his Christmas Card mailing every year and looked forward each year to his "rambling words" as he called them. To me they made my Christmas. I told him once that I was missing a couple of years and he came to the house and brought me a complete book of every year, I was so surprised and touched by his thoughtfulness. I will miss him and will read those words in his memory every year at Christmas.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family during this difficult time. May the wonderful memories you've shared together continue to provide a measure of comfort to you until God's promises are fulfilled. John 6:40.

To the family and friends I'm so sorry for your loss Know that the God of all comfort feel your pain and sorrows. Isaiah 61:1,2 reads: He sent me (Jesus Christ) to bind up the broken hearted and to comfort all who mourn.

I met Johnny for the first time when he worked at the store at Midlakes trailer park way back in the day. He always had a smile and a kind word and loved the Allman Brothers band. When we moved I missed his Christmas cards. Sorry for your loss.

This message is from Don and Marilyn Sellers of Wilmington NC. He was a cousin of Johnny's. Although we will not be able to attend. You all all in our thoughts and prayers. We always enjoyed the BBO's at your house and other places. Don is in Trinity Grove getting rehab for his legs. Sorry we can't attend.

I met my cousin John the first time at a family reunion a couple of years ago. He, his wife Donna and all family and friends were so gracious to me ! We spoke by phone a number of times since then as he wanted to do another reunion. A kind and gracious man. He will be sorely missed.

Johnny and I have been on the peripheral of each other's lives for over 20 years. (I am "Aunt Mary" to John Allen and Jodi.) The years and life experiences mellowed us both, smoothed some of the rough patches, made us better people. Now, I pray, may God grant him welcome, and give comfort and peace to all of you. Much love.
