Carolyn June Gresham Pappalardo

Ms. Carolyn June Gresham Pappalardo, 90, Rome, GA, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2025. Born on June 26, 1934, to James Park and Lorena Dean Gresham, she was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sibling. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Tom Pappalardo, two brothers Jim and Robin Gresham, and a sister Barbara Herrin. She is survived by her five children Thomas Mann Pappalardo, Emily Jane Pappalardo Hutchings (Jonathan and Holly), Julia Anne Pappalardo Gibbs (Allison, Kristie and Christopher), Mark Anthony Pappalardo (Connor), and Stephen Romano Pappalardo (Brittany). Several beloved grandchildren, and great grandchildren survive.

Ms. Pappalardo attended the Earl Paulk Church in Atlanta where she loved singing in the choir. The congregation will remember the many delicious loaves of bread she prepared. She had endless love for her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and siblings, Mary Gresham Underwood, Susan Gresham Williamson, and David Gresham. They all remember her love for the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves. A private family celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
