Georgia Mann Obituary
She was born in Utica to Ed and Marie Sharkey on May 27, 1946. Georgia married James Mann in 1966 and they were happily married for 46 years.
She worked as the editor of Steffen Publishing for many years, loved playing in the Pitch League at The American Legion, Roberts Post 161, and could never say no to Bingo. Georgia was also a member, in good standing, at Post 161.
She is survived by her children and their spouses; James and Jennifer, Joe and Penny, as well as Shannon and Cliff; grandchildren, Kayleigh and Dan, Tyler and Rachel, Jessie and Matt, Austin and Michayla, Joelle and Dariek, Jacqueline, Noah, Aaron, Michael and Matthew; as well as 10 beloved great grandchildren; as well as her brother, Jerry Sharkey, and his wife Louise. Georgia was predeceased by her loving husband, James P. Mann, Sr. and her parents Ed and Marie Sharkey.
The Family would like to thank Carol Ingersoll, for the many days that she spent with Georgia, the Family is forever grateful for her generosity. Additionally, the family is extremely appreciative for the love, care and guidance provided by Hospice and Palliative Care during Georgia's last days.
In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in Georgia's name to Hospice and Palliative Care of the Mohawk Valley; 4277 Middle Settlement Rd, New Hartford, NY 13413.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday June 25, at 9:30 AM, at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 16 Park Ave in Whitesboro. Burial will be in Holland Patent Cemetery.

Georgia and I went to High School at UCA back in 70´s. She was just a sweet, kind person. Every time I would run into her she was always smiling and happy. My condolences to her children. RIP
