Matt Money Obituary
He was born in Utica, NY on February 12, 1964 to Tom and Joan Money and grew up in Trenton Falls. He graduated from Holland Patent High School in the Class of 82. He earned his degree in forestry from Paul Smith's College. Matt worked for many years logging woodlots, maintaining several properties, and growing Christmas trees. He was known in the community as a very hard worker.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Theresa; children, Luke and Sarah; siblings, Amanda, Dan, Ethan, and Mark and grandchildren, Luna, Sophie, and Wyatt.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, logging, creating rustic furniture, and was an avid hunter. He enjoyed traveling to Wyoming to Theresa's family who he considered his own. Matt and Theresa had many happy days searching for Herkimer diamonds and creating a beautiful home and property.
A celebration of life will be held on October 8, 2024 at the Trenton Municipal Center, Barneveld from 5 - 7 p.m. All are welcome to attend to remember and honor the great man he was.
