Beatrice Blume Obituary
Beatrice I. Blume, 90, of Loves Park, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017. She was born June 9, 1927, in Iron Mountain, Michigan to Fred and Alma (Friberg) Lefebvre. Beatrice attended Kingsford Michigan Schools and graduated in 1945. She then attended St. Anthony School of Nursing in Rockford, graduating in 1948. Beatrice married Mervin H. Blume in 1950. She was a member of the Sinnissippi Quilters, St. Anthony Alumni, Roscoe, Illinois VFW Auxiliary and Regency Red Hat Society of Ft. Myers. Beatrice was also a member of St. Bridget Catholic Church. Survivors include her children, Paul Blume of Ft. Myers, FL, Beverly (Reginald) Brann of Loves Park, James Blume of Loves Park; brother, Bruce (Clarice) Lefebvre; grandchildren, Gina, Christina, Eric, Coleman, Lynanne, Amy and Destiny; 8 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents; husband, Mervin; brother, Gerald; sister, Patricia; infant daughter, Mary Elizabeth.
