Hattie Gibson Obituary

Hattie J. Gibson COLUMBIA - Services for Hattie J. Gibson will be held at noon Thursday at Zion Pilgrim Baptist Church located Highway 215 Winnsboro, SC, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 this evening at Palmer Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Gibson departed this earthy life on Tuesday, November 25, 2014. Born in Richland County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Johnson and Martha Stone. She was a life long member of Zion Pilgrim Baptist Church, where she served on the Usher Board and the Senior Choir. Hattie was a very loving, caring person and always placing others before herself. She is survived by her husband of fifty years, Deacon Isaiah W. Gibson; loving cousins, Jane (Rolin) Quattlebaum, Michael (Mercedes) Bonds, Warren Wood, Jr., Robin Quattlebaum, Monica and Monique Berba; sister-in-law, Mary (Alex) King; Aunt Iola Thompson; and other loving relatives and friends.
