STEVE MARVIN 'BOONEY' HARRIS, 40 ARLINGTON, TX - Steve Marvin "Booney" Harris, 40, a native of Chicago, IL and resident of Arlington, departed this earthly life to life eternal, Friday, December 11, 2015. Steve was born February 24, 1975, in Chicago, IL; the son of Stanley Howell and Diane Harris. He and his family moved to Arlington for a fresh start and new beginning. He was employed by Diverse Constructions, and loved his job building communication towers. Steve is survived by his wife of 24 years, Latonia Partee Harris; daughters, Doniesha Harris, Kendra Harris; granddaughter, I'aini "Sugah" Harris; parents, Stanley Howell and his spouse, Vanessa, Diane Young and her spouse, Larry; siblings, Stephanie Burke and her spouse, Elcee; Jermaine Harris and his spouse, Julie, Jewella Harris and Ceira Howell. His death was followed shortly by the death of his daughter, Ashley Harris. Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, December 26, 2015, at Liberty Baptist Church, 3500 Preston Street. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 9:00a.m. until the time of service. Final arrangements completed by Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home, 2429 W. State Street.
