William Schollar Obituary

William George Schollar, 66, of Rutland, died recently at his residence.
He was born Jan. 14, 1952, in Middletown Springs, the son of Theodor and Alice (Sumner) Schollar.
He grew up in West Rutland.
Mr. Schollar was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during the Vietnam War.
He was employed by Vermont Marble Co., General Electric Co., Rosen & Berger, Westside NAPA and Ross Chevy.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to car races.
Survivors include two daughters Miki Covey, of Whitehall, New York, Kandi Schollar, of Fair Haven; five grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Mr. Schollar was predeceased by two sisters Donna Weinreber and Sue Davis.
There will be no public services.
Burial will be in a veterans cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Dodge House, 95 Crescent St., Rutland, VT 05701.
Arrangements are by Aldous Funeral Home in Rutland.
