Allen LIPSON Obituary
Passed away suddenly and peacefully of a heart ailment on Friday June 10, 2011. Born on June 9, 1968, he was preceded in death by his younger sister Pamela and his nephew Killian. He was the son of Albert and Zalia Lipson and brother of Laura, Leonard and Brian, and uncle of Jessica and Brooklyn. He graduated Roseville High School where he was an outstanding soccer player. He attended San Diego State University and was a fraternity member. He was afflicted with serious mental illness as a sophomore and bravely fought the disease for the rest of his life.
Funeral services will be at Home of Peace Cemetery on Stockton Blvd. and Lemon Hill Ave. in Sacramento. Donations may be made to the Sacramento affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), 3440 Viking Dr., #125, Sacramento 95827. He retained his caring ways and sense of humor and was loved and will be deeply missed by his family and all those who knew him.

My deepest sympathies for the Lipson family. I will always have fond memories of my adventures and time spent with the Lipson family on Union Street in Rocklin, CA. Allen and I were in school together and I lived two doors down from the Lipson's. Allen and I had a lot of fun times together growing up.

This is for Zalia Lipson. I did not know your son. But I knew you back when you started the "tough Love" program and I want you to know that I haven't forgotten the good that it brought to me.
