SCHAFFNER, Anton (Tony)
Born September 5, 1919 in Linton, ND, passed away January 29, 2008 in Sacramento, CA. Anton is survived by his loving wife, Anna; daughter, Elaine (Loring) Pollock; grandchildren, Michelle, Aaron, Matthew, and Travis; great-grandchildren, Sharon, Eva, Jonathan, Lindsey, Cambria, Alayna and Ashley. He was preceded in death by daughter, Sharon. Family and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service on Saturday, February 9, 2008, 3:00pm at Faith United Methodist Church, 3600 J Street, Sacramento, CA. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a memorial donation to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601-7663. Arrangements made through Harry A. Nauman & Son Land Park Funeral Chapel.

My mother, Emma Wentz, just received the news through the Mid-Week Reminder that Tony had passed away. We were so sorry to hear that. Tony and Ann were such wonderful friends to my Mom and Dad (Albert Wentz) when they moved to Sacramento. Please accept our deepest sympathy.

My deepest sympathy to Tony's wife, Ann and family. I remember Tony as a small girl when I lived in Hood, Calif. with my family. He and his wife and daughter would come to see us. I'm the youngest daughter of Casimer & Mary Werlinger his Aunt and Uncle. I remember how kind he was and fun to have around. Love Francey(Werlinger)Jacobsen
