Carol Arbini-McFarland Obituary
December 13, 1946 - December 9, 2024
Sacramento, California - Carol was born in San Francisco and became a resident of Sacramento in 1952. She passed away on 12/9/24 from complications related to Myasthenia gravis. Carol was preceded in death by her parents (Dino and Matilda Arbini), son (John McFarland) and brother (Dino A. Arbini). She is survived by her son (Brad McFarland), and sisters (Joan Boyd and Janice Peterson). Carol graduated from El Camino H.S and attended American River College. Carol retired from the State of California in 2009 where she was a Senior Legal Typist. Carol was very active in her community and church. She served on the Rosemont Community Association (RCA) board and led the Scholarship Program, which will be named after her. She routinely volunteered at the American Red Cross and donated to many charities.
Services will be held at Gold River Calvary Chapel, 11285 Pyrites Way, Gold River, CA on March 29, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be made to the RCA Scholarship Program (https://rosemontca.org/programs/scholarships/), the American Red Cross, or the Children's Receiving Home of Sacramento (https://crhkids.org/).

Rest in Peace Carol. We spent so many fun times with PWP. I will miss you so much as my friend and great neighbor. Especially our final fun memories of getting all dressed up for the Barbie Movie. That was so fun. Love you my friend oxoxox.

What a dear heart Carol was. We took walks often during our lunch break at work while working at the Department of Decelopmental Services. She loved her sons, evidenced by her prayer requests to me for them. She was enthusiastic about her gardening, passing on an artichoke plant for me to give to my mom. Her broad smile and laughter won't be forgotten.
