Cody Isaacson Obituary

ISAACSON, Cody Dean Wilbur

Cody Dean Wilbur Isaacson, 16, passed from the arms of his loving family on September 27, 2009, at Natoma Lake, Folsom. Cody was born on June 8, 1993, to Sammy and Stacey (Murphy) Isaacson in Hayward, Calif. He is survived by Sam and Robyn Isaacson, with an older brother Joshua Isaacson also Stacey and Rich Winters and a little sister Annabelle Winters.

Cody enjoyed playing football. He played for the Fremont Redskins, West Sac Junior Raiders, Rocklin Junior Thunder, and Whitney High School Wildcats as a freshman. He enjoyed any outdoor activity but focused on wakeboarding, jet-skiing, dirt-biking, boxing and anything outdoors that challenged him physically. Cody began his Junior year at Whitney H.S. with college ambitions and returning to run the family business alongside his father and brother. Cody said he looked forward to becoming the boss.

Cody will be remembered for his beautiful smile that could brighten anyone's day. He always knew how to make people laugh and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Constantly lending a hand, or helping other people with an open heart. He was one of the most caring and generous people you'd ever meet and would be honored to know.

At the same time, he was always the first to stir things up and play practical jokes that would drive you insane! If you ever needed tickets to the gun show, he swore, he's the one to see. Or if you ever planned on driving somewhere with him, he would be the first in the driver seat. Cody was counting down the days 'till Nov 22, when he would finally get his driver's license. The brightest things people noticed about Cody were his loyalty, dependability, and faithfulness. Cody was a true friend 'till the end.

Most are finding his passing acceptable only because we are realizing we have spent time with one of God's angels.

Services will be held October 3, 2009, at Lincoln Hills Community Church at 1:00 p.m., followed by reception: located at 950 E. Joiner Parkway in Lincoln. Cody's final resting place will be: Sacramento Valley V.A. National Cemetery in Dixon, Calif.

Cody, you will be so missed by the many, whose lives you have touched. We Love You.

Services entrusted to the care of HERITAGE OAKS MEMORIAL CHAPEL, Rocklin, Calif., ph. 791-2273.

I am very sorry for the loss of cody. My fiancee and I were kayaking at Lake Natoma that evening and attempted to help the rescuers with locating Cody. My heart aches for his family and all of his friends. Take comfort in knowing that he spent time that day doing what he enjoyed and truly living his life to the fullest. Laura (Folsom, CA)

I am sorry for the loss of Cody. I am the mother of Alexea who attended Whitney High with Cody and had class with him. She's the one who made the collage for his mother and brother. Alexea is so hurt and misses him so much. She has pictures of Cody in her room and talks about him to me all the time. I will be praying for you all.

Cody, I miss seeing your huge grin every time i walk into class. The room is so different without you there. I want you to know how much we all miss you. Even those who didn't know you so well, are hurting over the fact that you are no longer with us. You are so funny, in geology you always were the first one saying the jokes making everyone laugh. You sit right behind me in that class... I can no longer turn to see you still there. But it still feels like you never went anywhere. I have known you throughout high school, and never did i see you look down. You were always so happy. We love and miss you Cody. Your in a better place now.

My daughter Liz is so deeply heart broken. She has many pictures of Cody, and a wonderful one of the two of them is our current screen saver. They are both blonde, blue eyed, and smiling big. She has told me he was a very good friend, and she will miss him so much. She has many great memories that make her smile. We are all so saddened by the loss. Love, Liz's mom.
