HOOK, ELDON J.
At the age of 67 on February 23, 2002. Passed away in Sacramento after a short bout with cancer. He was born 3/15/34 in Nebraska and lived in Sacramento and Placerville 64 years. Preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his daughter Debra Hook, grandson Jerrick Hook, great-granddaughter Amaya Rose Hook, devoted ex-wife Kay Hook, two sisters, Lillian Piscantor and Marcelene Rash, 6 nieces and 1 nephew, and many relatives. Eldon was a graduate of C.K. McClatchy High School and was a marine veteran of the Korean War. He was a plumber for years in Sacramento and partner of the former Ponderosa Plumbing and Electrical Co. in Shingle Springs before retiring. Friends and relatives are invited to visitation Tuesday, February 26, 2002, 6pm to 8pm at the Nicoletti, Culjis, & Herberger Funeral Home Inc., at 5401 Folsom Blvd., Sac CA. Entombment private, Wednesday, February 27, 2002 in the El Dorado Mausoleum Building at East Lawn Cemetery, Folsom Blvd and 43rd Street. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Sutter Hospice, 28th & L Street in his memory, or prayers at the church of your choice.
