Eric Wittnebel Obituary

Eric Scott Wittnebel

September 8, 1970 - August 8, 2025

Rancho Cordova, California - Eric was born on September 8,1970 in Sacramento, CA to Ron and Joan Wittnebel. Eric had a love of cars and trucks from a young age. Those who had car problems knew Eric was the one who could and would fix it! He took pride in being a Master Chevrolet Technician. For his son Nathan, restoring their classic trucks together over the years is a cherished memory. Eric and his wife Tracy shared a heart for finding just the right home for each Great Dane they fostered. His love for his own Great Dane, Roscoe, was always evident. His courage, resilience, and unshakable faith in God were known to all. Eric is survived by his wife of 25 years, Tracy and his son Nathan, his sister Darla (Chad), niece and nephew Kylee and Landon, his Grandmother Marie Barnes and nephew Adam Barnes. Eric also has many beloved aunts, uncles cousins and friends he will be dearly missed by. Eric was preceded in death by his parents Ron and Joan and his younger sister Lisa. A viewing will be held Friday at Mt. Vernon Memorial Park. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Rancho Cordova. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bradshaw Animal Shelter.
