Dear Grandpa and Family,
It is difficult to be far from all of you; I have wanted anxiously to be near you to share in our family's sorrows. I am sorry to hear of Uncle Genie’s death. Aside from family visits to Napa, I recall him dressing me up his Christian Brothers football uniform in the early 70’s as well as the memory of him teaching me to steer grandpa’s car while seated in his lap. To my Aunts: thank you for taking care of grandpa, may you remain strong within your own families, and know that you are loved by many. To my dad: draw strength from the wellspring of memories that only little brothers can bequeath (Julian, Louie, and Eugene), help my aunts take care of grandpa, and seek to actively maintain your health – physical and emotional – I love you. To Grandpa: I’ll call you, since I know that it is impossible to console you via broadband DSL, cable, or any other electric media – technology notwithstanding, I want the world to know how much we love you.
As it was when I lived in Sacramento, my heart is with all of you -- always!
Much Love,
Steve Archuleta

Please accept our sincere condolences on the loss of Eugene. My parents Gill & Maria Crolla have been neighbors with Paul & Lucia Bennett for over 35 years and have met probably all of the Archuletas at one time or another. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.
Sincerely,
Gill Crolla
