Mike and Family,
Just wanted to express my condolences on the loss of your father. I too remember our days living across the street. I spent more time with your sister Linda and my sister Claudia as she was closest to our age. I only see you every 5 years at reunions. Our original neighborhood is no longer, as my mom is the last "homesteader". My prayers are with you and your family. From one of the Gonzales clan......

What a wonderful family you were growing up across the street from us Gonzales'. I will always treasure the memories I have from those days, and later on living by Mary, who is my oldest son Eric's godmother. I truly miss those days of your mom's cooking and will never forget the time Mary and I had spent the night together and came down the hall singing Great balls of Fire and your mom spitting out her coffee when she heard the words.
My mom, who still lives in the same house, would tell us often how she would run into your dad at the BX and he would be showing her things he was buying for his grandkids who he was really proud of. You are truly blessed to have had such wonderful parents and I was blessed by knowing you all.
My deepest sympathies to you all.

My condolences and prayers to the Wihl family on the loss of your father. Although I was very young and many years have passed since we shared our childhoods in North Highlands, I'll always remember the Wihl family, especially MaryLou and Linda.
