Gary Bert Stroud
December 9, 1939 - February 11, 2023
West Sacramento , California - Gary Stroud passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, February 11, 2023. Gary was born in Sioux City, Iowa on December 9, 1939. He moved to West Sacramento and lived there for over six decades. Gary is survived by his two sons, Robert (Karen) and Brian (Natalie). He was Papa Gary to three beautiful granddaughters, Hailey, Lexi, and Brittney plus bonus grandkids, Jake, Kenzie and Remi. He leaves behind his sister Bootsie and brother Konny; longtime girlfriend, Jan Young; and his best friend Dutchess, his dog. Gary loved riding his Harley Davidson and the fellowship of the ride, spending time with his many friends at the Mecca Club and will be deeply missed. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Going to miss you my riding partner and dear friend. I couldn“t have asked for a better road trip partner. You never complained about the journey...wind, rain, hail or thunderstorms.

Gary was a sweet and funny man. I was lucky to have him as my father-in-law. He loved his family, always sending birthday cards and Christmas cards! He was loved, and will be missed!
