WONG, George Ray
Longtime local businessman and community supporter, George R. Wong, who, along with his family, founded Bel Air Markets, died November 6, 2011. He was 87. Throughout his life, he was admired as a gentle and kind man.

George always had a way of making you feel like you were the only one in the room when you were speaking to him; I think everyone remembers the first time they met him because of that. He was a kind and generous man who will be greatly missed. He told me onece, "It is very honorable to serve." He served his friends, family and community with great honor. Love you George.

I knew Mr. Wong when I worked for Mr. Lassner. He was such a wonderful man. Always a joy to see in the office. I'm so glad I knew him.
My condolences to the family.
May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
