Anabela Clark Lara and the Lara Family:
It is with a heavy heart that I express my condolences to each of you. But I also express my gratitude for having known such a guy as Gilberto Lara. He was a nice guy when he wanted to be, very private, & humorous on many occasion. He enjoyed cracking jokes and laughing! Gilbert & Anabela invited me in their home one year during the Christmas season for us to share some great snacks his wife had prepared for us. What a great time talking, laughing and just enjoying each other's company. He enjoyed traveling, casino trips & playing pool, but I believe he liked being a "homebody" best. As I sit here and look at my "fool's gold" from Alaska he gave me, I will hold him in my heart and keep his wife Anabela in my prayers.
Gil, Rest in Peace...
