Rio Linda, California - Helen Ramirez Stevenson was born on May 31st, 1931 in Round Rock, Texas. She was the youngest of six siblings. She became a beautician after High school. In early 1964 she met her future husband, Robert Lee Stevenson in Kileen, Texas. She married, (Bob) and they settled down in Sacramento. After their retirement they bought a home in the foothills by Nevada City, to enjoy mountain living. After Bob's passing in 2010 she relocated to Rio Linda, CA. to be closer to her son and his family. She would walk twice a day to collect recycling around Rio Linda and became well known throughout the community. She would often play bingo at the Senior Center. Up until age 90 she even mowed her own lawn. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert, her parents Cirilio and Gerarda Ramirez, Brothers, Peter, Manuel, Sisters, Luisa Valdez, Mary Torrez, and Francis Tovar. She is survived by her son Robert, daughter-in-law Siria, grandchildren, Karla, Gael, Gabriel, Robbie, Leeland, and Suzette. As well as many in laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She will be deeply missed. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Funeral Home, Sacramento on June 20, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.
