James "Jim" Davis

Greenwood, Indiana - James (Jim) Davis passed away on March 10, 2022, at the age of 63. He died in his home surrounded by family after a valiant fight against cancer.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Pat, and 2 wonderful daughters, Rachel and Kelly, whom he loved very much. He had other loves...baseball, especially the San Francisco Giants, and cars. His last three years were spent chasing down baseball games and working on his fleet.
Jim is also survived by his mother, Mary Davis, brothers, Bill (Carinne), and John. His niece, Alison (Jacques), and Ava. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Cliff and both sets of grandparents.
Jim worked in the printing industry in Sacramento from age 15 until he retired. At the time of his retirement he was partners in Delta Web Printing, Paul Baker Printing, and River City Printing. He and Pat retired to Greenwood, Indiana in 2019.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements were entrusted to G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home.

I had the privilege of working for and with Jim in the final years of my career. I know he embraced life fully and will always remember him for his wit and kindnesses toward me. My condolences to his beloved wife and daughters.

Jim was one or our favoirte friends. We knew him well and will miss him. Our condolences to all the family, especially to Pat and Mary.
