NICHOLSON, Keith Edward
Jan. 8, 1962 - Sept. 12, 2010
He is survived by his wife, Julia A. Nicholson and four children, Zackary K. Nicholson, Haley A. Nicholson, Kristen M. Cannarozzi, and Megan T. Chivers. Keith was preceded in death by his father Vernon Keith ''Nick'' Nicholson, a Motorcycle Hall of Fame inductee. Keith had a love for life and a passion for all sports. His prowess on the motocross track, the ski slopes, the slalom course, and the golf course is well known. He was an incredible athlete and took pride in winning almost every motocross race he entered, even into his 40s racing in many Hangtown Motocross Classics against racers 20 years younger. Keith had an amazing career with AT&T, spanning over 22 years. He had a special gift with people and he touched everyone that had the fortune to know him in a very special way. He was greatly respected by all who knew him and he raised the bar in many ways. He sacrificed much for many to be a devoted husband, father, and friend. He will be missed more than words can say and we are all better off for the love, laughter, and strength he gave us. In celebration of Keith's life, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Keith's name to the Keith E. Nicholson Memorial Fund in care of Fremont Bank, PBG 25151 Clawriter, Hayward, CA 94545

I was saddened to hear of Keith's passing. As one of his classmates at Buckley, I recall his friendly demeanor throughout those years, and the photo certainly shows the same winning smile that I remember. I extend my deepest sympathy to Keith's closest relatives and to those who knew Keith as a family man, work colleague, and close friend. I hope that you are all comforted by positive memories of his life during this difficult time.

Our friend/colleague Keith will defnitely be missed more than words can say. We learned so much from him over the years and we are so fortunate that we had a chance to know him. His passion for all things sports was contagious and we have so many memories of the good times we spent together. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers my friend.
