Mary McQuhae Obituary

McQUHAE, Mary Lois
Age 71, a former Sacramento resident, died October 15, 2009, in Lubbock, Texas. She was born February 14, 1938, in Cement, Oklahoma to Doyle and Dorothy Seals. Lois is survived by her husband of 38 years, Kevin King McQuhae of their home in Snyder, TX; her three sisters Dottie Lashley of Norman, OK, Imogene Brewer of Killeen, TX, and Judy Stegall of Scott City, KS; her two children Raymond Doyle Kellner of Snyder, TX, and Deborah Lynn Walker and her husband Richard Walk of Placerville, CA; by her daughter, Kevin Kate Albizu and her husband Ryan Albizu; and 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Lois worked as a practice manager for various physicians in Leakey and San Antonio, Texas and in Auburn and Sacramento, California. Lois retired in 2001 from the University of California Davis Medical Center in Sacramento. One of her most noted accomplishments at UC Davis was growing a billing department from a staff of 3, managing the billing for a dozen plus doctors, to a department of 200+ managing the billings for more than 600+ physicians. Her interests included family, education, old movies, charitable giving and improving the lives of all that she touched. It has been said that Lois is the Best Friend to many. She was an active member of the Catholic Church, specifically St. Elizabeth's in Snyder, Texas. Lois was preceded in death by her mother, father and a sister, Shirley Langley of Graham, OK. Memorial services are pending. Condolences may be sent to 2112 42nd Street, Snyder, TX 79549.

My deepest sympathy to your family.
I know that Lois will be deeply missed by everyone.
Lois and I have been friends and business associates for over 20 years; I will continue to celebrate her life with many fond memories.
