Robbie Matulonis Obituary

Born 01/05/1921, passed away 08/20/2017. Robbie was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Matulonis and her parents, H.C. and Effie Bell. She was born and raised in Ft. Worth, TX. In 1940 she and Pete married and moved to Chico, CA. They lived there until Pete went into the Navy and Robbie went back to Texas. When Pete was sent to San Diego she joined him there and worked until the war was over, at which time they moved back to Chico and then on to Sacramento in 1949. Robbie retired from Rainbow Bakery in 1979. She is survived by a great nephew, Frank Kuzmo (Judy) of Michigan; great niece Debbie Hanes (Terry) of Michigan; great- cousin Patrick Sperting of Lakeport, CA; and goddaughters Miriam Schmidt of Elk Grove, CA and Mary Louise Holman of Everett, WA and was proxy to Celia Dilly of Elverta, CA. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, September 6, 2017, 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary Cemetery in St. Joseph's Chapel, 6700 21st Avenue, Sacramento, CA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sacramento Kaiser Hospice, (916) 486-5300 or Stanford Settlement, (916) 927-1303.

Robbie you were one of the nicest people I've ever met. Will miss you coming for breakfasts. You always were so nice. Heaven has an other Angel. R.I.P Robbie.
