Sherry Holmes Obituary

4-13-1939 4-23-2017 Always in Our Thoughts Forever in Our Hearts! Sherry will be missed by all the people she cared about, by those who looked up to her and, most especially, by those who loved her. Sherry loved her daughters, Michelle, Kim, Candace, & Tatia, her grandchildren Tyler, David, Tanner, Troy and Angelina and 6 great grandchildren. Sherry was known as Sherry Dixon in Sacramento as her and her husband moved to Placerville in 1989. Sherry was known as a beautiful person inside and out, her caring nature for people and animals. Sherry always had some kind of animal with her on the Sacramento River, a pig, dog, cat or deer. Sherry owned a horse all her life and loved them so. She shared many great memories in Sacramento with her girlfriends. She shared many memories with her SYC boating friends. She traveled around the US, Mexico, and Europe. Sherry was fun, easy going and easy to love, a beautiful soul and always caring for other's needs. Sherry died after a 4 year battle of Alzheimer's at the age of 78 on April 23, 2017. She is in God's Presence now and having a reunion with all those that were close to her heart. Please sign the online guest book at www.weeksfuneralhomes.com
